We are a group of first and second graders excited to learn new things and grow in our relationship with God! Our main focus in class is to make sure we are being the best we can and representing God in our actions and words. We also like to have some fun!
As first graders we are learning working on learning how to read and how to become fluent readers. In math, we are working with coins, learning subtraction and addition, using graphs, and learning about fractions.
As second graders we are practicing our fluency in reading, learning the rules of the English language, and working on our comprehension skills. In math, we are going to add and subtract two digit numbers, work with fractions, and practice adding money.
As a group, we practice our writing skills together, we read and learn about God’s word, we learn about our community and world for social studies, and learn about science through different experiments.
This classroom is busy and full of life and everyday is a new day!
